Koster Chair – Italian Made, the seat has a dynamic, unstructured shape that dates back to the 50s and has survived many historical periods and fashions. The version that has reached us today is perfectly up-to-date, beautifully harmonizing with the contemporary style of any place devoted to hospitality.
Structure: in metal embedded in cold-foamed polyurethane and covered with bonded protective fabric. Version with wooden backrest frame, in plywood covered with walnut colored or heat-treated chestnut veneer.
Base: in matt bronze lacquered metal.
Cover: completely removable fabric and leather, even for the decò version.
Born in Austria, is a French citizen and currently lives in Milan. Graduate of the first course of “esthétique industrielle” all” Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, dedicated to passion for experimentation with plastics, in the early 70s he developed the first ski boot in thermoplastic material. After many years of collaboration with the Italian Caber (afterwards known as Lotto) has specialized in the “design of sport” working with all the major multinationals in the United States, Asia, Japan and Europe. Among the many awards over the years won the “Compasso d’Oro” Award in 1995, 2001 and 2008. In 2014 he receives the XXIII Compasso d’Oro for Bellevue-Panorama project of IFI.
